THE AMENITIES
In our Mas
dating from the XIIth century and on the border of The National Parc, you will
find a reception/ meeting room with a big chimney, lots of information about
walking and sight seeing tours, a table d’hôte (restaurant), the sauna, the
three apartments and the guest room.
The swimming
pool, the children's play area, the jeu de boule and the common barbecue are on
the camp site itself, underneath the Mas, as well as our two gîtes (holiday
homes). |

In the evening we serve a three course
meal, taken together, on the terrace with magnificent view of our valley. There
is always an vegetarian option and we use a lot of biological products but not ,
as yet, for 100 %. You can say our style of cooking is international, while not
using exotic or expensive products.
We prefer using the every day local
products prepared in a careful and creative way. .

An old dilapidated building on the terrace
in front of the Mas, has been restored recently and it now houses the small
sauna for 4 people. |
In season the baker passes by daily,
Sundays included and you can also order your groceries, fruit and vegetables
from him. During the summer we organize from time to time a children's activity
like painting or constructing with waste materials, or for adults and children a
guided walking tour. In July you can brush up on your French by following a
course for starters as well as advanced pupils; inscription before hand
obligatory.

Near by you can rent a donkey or a pony,
ideal for taking a day trip (or even longer) with young children. You can also
rent a horse at half an hour’s drive. Each Sunday we will show you around in our
Mas dating from the XIIIth century, with its hidden chamber, mediaeval gate,
“magnanerie” (silk worm raising building), the sundial on the wall, the wash
basin and the private cemetery.
And if you are interested we are happy to
show you our solar panels, the ones for warm water as well as those for
generating electricity, our central heating based on chipped wood and the
isolation with hemp and chalk.
