GITE (HOLIDAY HOME), STUDIO AND GUEST ROOM
Our two much
appreciated gîtes are in the middle of the camp site and next to the swimming
pool. The three studios (apartments) and the guest room are located in the wing
of the big house, the “Mas” above the campsite. They are open all year around so
you can appreciate the beautiful autumn colors or the vigorous spring; and even
in winter the weather can be nice because we are under the influence of the
Mediterranean. |

Each gîte can
accommodate up till 4 à 6 people and has two bedrooms; one with a big bed and
one bedroom with two times two single beds, a bathroom with a shower and a
washing stand and a separate toilet. The living room also contains an open
kitchen and opens up on a spacious terrace. Each gîte has two floors.
In summer you can join
us for the evening meal, served on the terrace of the Mas, with magnificent
view. We have received two prices for the way we have restored the former barn
and chestnut drying house; one for the conservation of a cultural heritage and
one for doing it in a very ecological way. The walls are isolated with a mixture
of hemp and chalk, appreciable in winter as well as in summer time.
The solar panels on
the roof heat the water for the whole campsite and outside the season they heat
the gites via the floor. A nice wood stove makes for cozy evenings and if need
be, you can turn on the electrical heating.
All the windows and
doors are double glazed and most of the woodwork (beams) is from our own trees. |
Holiday home
“Bertrand” is 65 m2 (say 600 square foot) and has been restored in 2001 with a
terrace on the east, south and west side of the house. Holiday home “La Clède”
is 55m2 (about 500 square foot), has been restored in 2005, with a wooden
terrace of 25 m2 ( 200 square foot) on the east side directly overlooking the
swimming pool.
In each gite you will
find a dishwasher, fridge, oven/microwave and gas furnace with 4 burners. The
house also contains a electric kettle, coffee machine, a toaster, electric
mixer, sufficient pans, pots, cutlery and all those handy implements like a
corkscrew, garlic press etc. .
The price includes the
use of electricity, gas, water and wood and we provide the bed linen (please
bring your own towels). The cleaning at the end of your stay you can do yourself
or have it done by us for a fee.. |

Each apartment has its own entrance, by the
shared terrace on the south as well as by the terrace on the north side. Each
one has his own bathroom with shower, wash stand and toilet, an open plan
kitchen with fridge, 4 pits gas stove, micro wave and the necessary for cooking,
a big double bed, dining room table and a convertible.
The apartments are between 30 and 33 m2 and
can host 2 à 4 people.

The studios are available all year around.
Bed linen, electricity, gas and water are all included, but please bring your
own towels. In summer you can have breakfast or dinner with us.
The guest room is 15 m2 with a double bed
and a private bathroom with a shower, wash stand and toilet. You can also rent
the guestroom together with an apartment so that you can sleep two couples or 5
persons. The guest room is available in summertime only.
