A
big part of the Cévennes is National Parc with an astounding number of
rare and protected species and an amazing variety of landscapes within a
circle of 30 km. the high planes of limestone (Causses), the canyons of
the Gorges du tarn, the wooded mountain ridges (Corniches) of schiste and
the impressive mountain of granite (Mont Lozère)

The influence of the Mediterranean
brings nice spring, autumn and even nice winter weather, while the altitude at
600 meters offers a welcome bit of freshness in summer.
